Do you have recommendations for diverticulitis?

Soluble Fiber (Feeds bacteria directly): Oats, barley, legumes (beans, lentils), chia seeds, flaxseeds, psyllium husk, apples, citrus fruits. If you prefer to supplement, then go mild and gentle at first. I have used this for my clients:

Vital Nutrients Prebiotic powder - https://rb.gy/0qfpob

Inulin, FOS, GOS can be a bit rough on the systems

Insoluble Fiber (Adds bulk): Whole grains (wheat bran, brown rice, quinoa), vegetables (broccoli, carrots, leafy greens), fruits with skin, nuts, and seeds.

If they have signs of gut inflammation or leaky gut then I add daily capsule of BPC-157

AND drink lots of water!

* Be sure to always check with your physician before doing any of the above, as each case is different.

Thank you! Will try this. My body can’t handle psyllium. I need a more gentle fiber option. Appreciate the recommendation. 🩷

Do you have a preferred test for finding out what’s going on in a person’s gut, like the GI Map or the GI 360, for example?
